The close of the 2026 wine grape harvest will be marked with an elegant open-air celebration on Friday, 10 April as Jazz Under the Stars returns to the werf in front of Geuwels at Vergenoegd Löw. Set against the historic farm buildings and vineyards, the evening promises a memorable blend of music, seasonal cuisine and relaxed farm hospitality beneath the autumn sky.
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of Cap Classique before gathering around an abundant seasonal starter table celebrating the very best of the annual harvest. The evening continues with a plated main course by gastronomist Michelle Theron, whose menu draws inspiration from Cape heritage flavours and fresh garden produce grown on the estate. A heritage-inspired sweet treat brings the meal to a graceful close.
The soundtrack for the evening will be provided by the popular Moonshine band, led by saxophonist Dan Shout, performing an uplifting selection of jazz, swing and beloved classics as the sun sets over the werf.
Priced at R1 200 per person, Jazz Under the Stars is a much-loved harvest tradition – a gentle, joyful evening celebrating the end of the season with good music, generous food and the beauty of the farm at dusk.
Estate wines will be available for purchase.
