MAKE YOUR WAY TO NEDERBURG’S THE MANOR FOR A TASTE OF THE 2021 HARVEST

At Nederburg in Paarl, set against the majestic Drakenstein Mountains, the excitement of harvest is palpable. From the workers out in the vineyards picking fully ripened fruit to the buzz of activity in the cellar with its intense smell of grape fermentation this time of the year.

The harvest exhilaration has even spilled over to The Manor, Nederburg’s wine and food experience hub, situated in the historic homestead that dates back to 1800. Chef Jerry Kennedy and his team are now serving up a regularly changing blackboard menu of food that conjures up that harvest feeling. Think along the lines of freshly-baked mosbolletjies, baked camembert cheese wrapped in vine leaves, grilled fish and grape salad, scrumptious cheese platters featuring grape jam, and mosbolletjie bread & butter pudding with clotted cream.

Also on offer at The Manor, throughout the 2021 harvest season, are delicious grape jams and conserves for guests to purchase and take home.

The Manor’s à la carte menu items are still served every day between 9:00 and 16:00, except for Tuesdays when it’s closed. Click here to view The Manor’s regular menu options.
